The idea of ‘service’ is core to our school and a key part of our curriculum. We challenge our children to think beyond themselves through giving their time for example litter picking, hearing children read or being an anti bullying ambassador.
Since 2019 we have given over 400 hampers to families in Thanet
In addition at Christmas we provide boxes of food and gifts to local families. These families are referred to us or know to their school or other agencies.
This year we would like to give at least 200 boxes to local families.
The Gift includes:
- toiletries
- Food including Christmas treats
- Gifts for the children
- gloves etc
- Details of local events
- If funding allows we would also like to put in a gift voucher
We need people to support this by:
- Giving gifts (new toys)
- Donating food (long life, non-perishable)
- Giving money (donate now)
- Gloves etc
